The Classic Company is pleased to announce that Windsor Stables of Alpharetta, Georgia, will be sponsoring the Classic Hunter Derby Week II of the Atlanta Fall Classics.

Windsor Stables is a boarding and training facility that also sells top hunter and jumper prospects. Head trainer, Michael Leon, originally from California, is known throughout the industry as a leading hunter and jumper rider with wins at the top shows ranging from the pre-greens to International Hunter Derbies to Grand Prix. He trains many amateur owner adult riders and rides clients’ horses to top placings regularly at the top hunter jumper events in the country. Windsor Stables' focus is a program tailored towards the goal oriented rider at all levels. They offer lesson, lease and full-training options. No matter what age or skill level, Windsor Stables’ only requirement is a passion and a goal to do your best, whether that is a National Grand Championship, or simply enjoy learning at home.

Added Highlights: 

The Barry Lane Jumper Classics will be held over both weekends offering four classes with the same $25,000 in prize money. The classes are at 1.10 meter and will be held on Saturday and Sunday each week.  

Queen Sales, the provider of feed and bedding in Conyers, will also offer rider bonus money during Week II. There will be $2,000 for the Leading Child/Adult Jumper Rider, $2,000 for the Leading Jr/AO Rider and $1,500 to the Leading Classic Derby Rider, all based on Championship points over the two weeks.
